Do you think church is boring? We did too until God brought about Rescue Community Church! We believe that God wants us to love the life that He has blessed us with, including the time we spend in church. When you come to a Rescue service, you’ll feel welcomed into our family with smiling faces, hot coffee and donuts and a service designed to help you connect with God.

According to a study based on FBI statistics, Harrisburg is the 20th most dangerous city in America, more dangerous than Washington DC and Philadelphia. We at Rescue Community Church want to make a difference in our city.

Rescue is a church that preaches a powerful gospel, has passionate, spirit filled worship and is focused on reaching the lost. People will typically be wearing jeans and a t-shirt, but you can come in whatever you’d like. Our services are only 75 minutes long and feature current worship music and a message designed to help you take one more step forward in your relationship with Jesus.

Lead Pastors Tommy and Bekah Arnold: Tommy and Bekah have been married since April 2002 and have 3 awesome kids, Kenzie, Abi and Noah. Tommy was born in San Diego, CA and was raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He graduated With Honors from Valley Forge Christian College in 2001 with a Bachelors of Science in the Bible, Youth ministries studies. His wife, Bekah, is RCC’s worship leader. She also is a regular part of the preaching team. Tommy loves coffee, Jeeps, dirt bikes and movies.
